I am currently looking into a short shifter for my camry. I wanted to know if a 94-99 celica throw shifter would work or is there a different one i should get. It looks very similar to the one i have in my car right now so please give me some advice! Thank you.

If you want to use a Celica short shifter, I know a short shifter for the 7th gen Celica 2000+ shifter will work. On eBay, you can find Megan and Ralco SS's for the 7th gen celica for less than$70 and generics from as low as $52. My friend recently installed one on his gen3 with no issues.
