What size tires

Right now I have the stock tires on a 2001 prerunner, but since its almost time to get new ones, how big can I go?
Will 32" fit fine on the 16" stock rims or should I go with 31" tires?

32's won't fit on a stock height prerunner without some rubbing...how much depends on the individual truck...
