Hi, I would like to buy a manual Echo probably a 2000 -2003 model. Is there anything I should look out for when going to view one of these cars? Common problems etc? Are there any years that should be avoided? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
You can check carcomplaints.org ECHO doesn't have serious issues. You just follow how you would check out any used car. There have been some reports, even in here,of water possibly causing an engine misfire due to a possible breakdown in insulation, but it seems to affect, if at all, a few.

Good luck.

The 2000's have smaller brakes but thats the only difference that I know of but I would still buy
one and it's an easy upgrade to larger front brakes if your worried about that.
