Ok so my tranny went out... Father and i bought a new tranny from a japanese wholesale store... what i noticed on the tranny that it said 95 3sfe. the guy at the shop assured me it was for my car and everything bolted right up except the mount... we are just about done just have to replace my axles and install my intrax springs... but what my question is how will my car drive? with the new tranny what should i expect? its a i4 93 auto

So you drive a 93LE auto, and the tranny was for a 95 auto? If the only difference is what kind of engine it used to be mounted to, your car should drive the same. I don't know the trans model numbers off the top of my head, but I wouldn't expect much a difference, especially with an automatic.

3S-FE and 5S-FE use the same auto tranny (A140E).

And yes the mounts are different on both engines. 3S-FE has 3 mounts (front, rear, and top) on the tranny. 5S-FE has one mount (on the bottom of the tranny).

Should be the same as with your old tranny.
