unless you want to spend major money, you have the wrong car to run 245+ hp. my suggestion, if the wallet is huge, swap 3sgte in. or, you could just buy an all trac, like me ; )

get a v6 camry motor 1mz + super/ turbo kit. you should be pushing 260hp i assume. overall cost would be a nice 5000$ give or take i guess.

^hes right...im planning (in like 6 years) to get another 5sfe bore it out to a 2.4 litre and do all the fixings to it...then put the ct-26 turbo in it and some kind of intercooler...but please use the search button

i dont think any of the 3sgte's will come 300 hp stock...but the stock hp 3sgte that we have here in the usa is 200, and the jdm 3sgte at most will probably give 245 or so (the newer versions)
but with the correct tuning/etc, they can go to 300...

the guy wants 245 hp + , so i agree with the guy who said to get a v6 camry motor and add a supercharger and/or turbo...

2 coolest engine swaps i've seen are a gs v8 stuffed inside an is300 and a skyline turbo in a s15

Do you want or need 245 hp?
If you're really serious about doing this and you're willing to spend $5,000+ you could always do the 5SGTE Hybrid motor and that there will get you some nice numbers

i think i remember hearing that the is430 (is300 with a gs430 engine ) was possibly gonna be a production car in like late 2005 or2006 im not sure but i did see something on tv about that

as for the motor swap add the ripp sc to that motor add an intercooler up the boost headers cai keep 14 inch wheels on it and you should meet your requirements

the reasoning for the 14inch wheels is if you go bigger you'll loose whp the bigger you go

p.s. yes Bill Strong has the cadillac northstar s/c V-8 in his MKI MR2 which does about 300hp & 300ft lbs of torque and it is cool for sure just proves that with enough time, money, patience & talent you can swap just about anything...so why don't you dazzle us blink1901 w/the 1st 2jz-gte in a camry
