stock plugs and stock wires not only perform best but are economical too.

i've always wondering about the same question but what if your choice wasn't stock ? i've heard nothing but the best bfrom the bosch +4 but those suckers are 10$ each.

i like Denso Ik series plugs, but aren't they stock from toyota ???? lol

i use bosch 4's in my 1mzfe and they work great as for wires i don't have any but as for the wires a friend of mine used blck tape and taped bare wire to the plug wires to help with the ignition kinda like the ones they sell on the import mags.

if you want the best, go OEM (get from dealership).

Screw OEM, the OEM spark plug wires and dist cap suck ass. Go NGK for spark plug wires and dist cap. Go Denso Iridium or platinum for spark plugs. Nice performance over OEM. It is what I use and love it.

My fav wires have to be MSD 8.5 mm. I don't know if they make em for toyota or not, if they do, I will pick me up a set for my new 95 LE. I also like silverstone plugs.

what are these supposed to bring to the car anyway?

When i got some iridiums on my i4 i didn't see a big difference.

If you have a N/A vehicle, all those aftermarket ones won't really help you. The stock ones are actually really good. I would just stick with them. There is no noticeable difference with aftermarket plugs, unless your old ones were really worn out. Even then it's just because they're new. People sometimes upgrade plugs(cooler/iridium) because it's beneficial after going the forced induction route. But for a basically stock vehicle, stick with the factory ones.

the 'gains' that people may get on their stock cars are mostly in their minds. unless someone wants to prove me wrong with a dyno.
