Hello, I want to buy a new 2022-23 Corolla sedan 2.0 MT but I can only find the width without mirrors (70,1 inches or 178cm), does anybody know the width including the side mirrors?

Thanks in advance!

It is in OM Specifications. Canadian/US owners manual states overall width 70.5 in (1790mm). I am not sure if that includes mirrors, it should as they are attached to the body...

Thanks, but that number does not include the mirrors, I know because the manual says "overall width (without mirrors): 70,1 inches"

Go measure a mirror @ your local Toyota dealer x2 + 70.1 in = eureka

I hope the mirrors don't add to the length of the car...

There are no Toyota dealers where I live, and that formula is not right anyway, you can't just add the length of 2 mirrors to the overall length of a car because they are not located at the very edge of each side.
Measure horizontally from the base of the mirror where it attaches to the door to the outer tip of the mirror, multiply by 2, add to OEM listed width. A little common sense would show you that you can just do that. Worst case scenario, you get a slightly wider total width. They always told us that basic math would be useful in our lives.

I just went out and measured 81 inches from edge to edge of outer mirrors.

OM specs don't have a fine print about mirrors, just say overall width, possibly with folded mirrors:

Thanks, finally a helpful answer to my question! I have been looking for this for about a month on the internet and there is not a single place where it is written.

Thanks again, I was hoping it would be a smaller width, but at least now I have a number.

If anyone has a 2019 or newer Corolla sedan please tell me how wide is your car, including extended side mirrors, thanks in advance.

I have '19 HB. Looking at the specs, the width of all '19~23 HBs and '20~23 sedans is the same 70.5 in, which makes sense given they are all on the same platform...

Why do you need this btw? Small garage?

Thanks, I hadn't seen your signature. I am not sure that the measurements of all Corollas are the same all over the world, in my country the width of the sedan is 70.1 inches and not 70.5 and I have seen different dimensions of the same car on websites all around.

Yes, I have a small garage.

I can only see US/Canada specs and not the other regions. I wouldn't know if the mirrors are the same for all regions. Mirrors on US/Canada ones fold...

I think that the mirrors should be the same in all regions, the ones here in Chile (which are made in Brazil) also fold. The manual here says "overall width (mm): 1,780" and that translates to 70.078 inches, and that translates to 70.1 inches.

I can fold the mirrors to get into my garage, but it is dangerous to back out with the mirrors folded.

A little common sense would have told you that, if I had access to a Corolla, I would have measured the distance I'm looking for myself, and I wouldn't be asking this on an internet forum.
Don't be rude, you're new and if you had been here for a while you'd understand that this place is flooded with new accounts like you asking very important obscure information that must be answered your way and RIGHT NOW.

Your question came across as lacking in common sense as well to me so maybe check yourself and try coming correct next time. 💯

FYI if you had common sense then you would have tried this

Or tried picking up a phone and calling a toyota parts department or an auto wrecker ... it's amazing how easy things are to do yourself with a little common sense.

Eeeeeasy neighbor :)

OP is in Chile (in his avatar) and his accessibility to cars new, wrecked, used and talking to a dealer, corp office, etc. is waaaay more complicated (mostly not available) than what we have here in NA and take for granted.

Looking at his comments, he is trying to gauge if he bought this car it would fit into his garage. And considering new car market conditions, he likely needs this info asap so to decide if they will drop $30-40K on a Corolla or not...

Did I ask for an answer RIGHT NOW? I didn't.
Did I ask for an answer "my way"? I didn't.
Is the width of a car a "very important obscure information"? It's not.

Fair enough I get that things may not be as easily accessible to OP but they still have access to the internet and a phone which is where I obtained all my info, I have little to no remorse for those who run to ask others for help when all the answers were readily available within their own means ...

30-40k on a new car .. I'd take a long distance call to get solidified factual info I obtained myself ... my 2 cents

It's like jyetman, everyone helps him but unless it's what he wants to hear or someone says the answer he already picked before asking the question then he ain't hearing none of it. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷‍♀️
