Also, make sure that the shoulder of the lugnuts are the same as the wheel.

all tuner lugs have the 45 degrees seats, so don't let him confuse you because he himself is probably very confused. The only time you have to worry about that is if you pick up some old school 2pc wheels which i'm sure you didn't.

Just get 12x1.5 tuner lugs... BTW Rays makes really nice extended lugs.

Those are the old school lugs with the washer ring style seats, which no one uses anymore. There's no wheel manufacturer that makes wheels without the 45 degrees seats.

I must say I never paid too much attention to those details picking lugnuts , but now I am curious if that is so how we can advice the original OP to pick the right lugnuts for his new wheels? Imagine he wants to order online where the selection is better but he can't test them on the wheels itself - how to find out what fits other 12x 1.5? I often do not see more info on them

Actually, they aren't old school. You can pick those exact lugnuts up at your local Toyota dealer because they do come on Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Do some research.

As I stated before, grow up and quit trolling behind my posts. You're gheying up every thread that you do that in.

12 X 1.5 refers only to the threads of the lug nut. Not the seat/shoulder.

Most lug nuts have the 60 degree seat/shoulder. Some have the shank like the ones I posted a picture of in the thread above. You can't use the lug nuts with the shank on wheels with the 60 degree seat.

So the answer would be the correct threaded lug nut with the correct shoulder. The threads are 12 X 1.5 but the OP did not state if he already had lug nuts or not. Maybe he has lug nuts with the shank but needs the 60 degree lugnuts. Also simply answering 12 X 1.5 will not make him aware that there is a difference. My response was simply additional information to help the OP. Your's was harrassment only. That's what you've been doing all day long.

There is no longer any reason for you to keep screwing up all of these threads. You can stop your trolling anytime. It will help everyone as soon as you stop.

...I do understand that point, but how to order: Most here order aftermarket wheels online and I have never seen a spec about the lugnut requirements on the wheels and often do not see more than thread spec on the lugnut. Online dealers simply ship you fitting lugnuts but if you like to order other, better lugnuts right away....guess the only choice is to look at the wheels first when you got them and order later? Any other choice?

Tobeit, like I mentioned... there's no reason to worry about the lugs not fitting as long as they are 12x1.5. TRD VVTi is speaking of lugs that no wheel manufacturer uses anymore. Just make sure they are 12x1.5. 12x1.25 is for mitsubishi's and nissans...

EDIT: the website should give a choice between 12x1.5 or 12x1.25 and so on... unless its a manufacturer specific website, for instance, only for Nissans, Mazda's or whatever.

So, your message is ALL aftermarket wheels have 45 deg and All (brand, none OEM) aftermarket lugnuts have 45 deg....

all NEW aftermarket wheels... such as enkei's, rays, motogi's and so on have the 45 degrees seats.
There's no manufacturer of aftermarket wheels that is using the old style lugs.

OEM wheels vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, though most manufacturers have switched to their OEM wheels having the angled seats. For some reason, Toyota is still using the older styled lugs.
