i just got sum new used wheels for my gen 3 camry... the wheels size is 18 tires are 245/45/18 i was wondering if this size was ok to go with a camry or if they are to big in width(245).here is a pix

put them on. they look like it will be very close...but if it does fit the tires will stick out farther than the fender/doors of the car, and to me that's a tad wierd...but it should do wonders for handling.

that's going to rub like a motherfucker.....it's wide...which can be okay with the right offset and a rolled rear fender...the fronts are fine....

but in addition to being wide, they also have a massive amount of sidewall....which adds to the problem

the diameter is rather big. 245/45 is just big for the camry, esp on 18 inches.

my 18 inch set up is 225/40 and with an offset of +38, barely enough clearance in the back to get by. i think overall those wheels are too wide for your camry rear unless you get spacers and/or roll fenders.

Thats gonna be a big in your speedo reading......;)

Difference in circumference:154.26mm or 7.81 % So when your speedo reads 70mph, you're actually travelling at 75.47 mph
