my windshield washer pump has gone bad and i'd like to replace it myself if at all possible. does anyone have info on where it is or how to replace it? i have already purchased an online sub to chiltons manual for the tC and its crap. it doesn't even mention the washer pump.

Washer pump is located right on the front of the tank. There is a grommet holding the inlet inside the tank and the hose connects directly to it.

Chiltons doesn't mention the washer pump because there's no breakdown of it. You just remove and replace. Nothing technical about it.

It might even only be in the electrical systems manual which Chiltons doesn't usually sell.

Are you sure your pump is bad? not too often that Toyota washer pumps go bad.

i havent even looked closely at it yet... but i would think the pump would go before the switch. aside from that, i didnt think there were any other components involved.
