I just discovered a cut off looking hose on my 2002 Toyota Echo, it's not connected to anything and I can't tell where it goes. It's located right above the exahaust manifold. It might be the AC drain hose but I'm not sure.

I found it by putting some seafoam though my vacuum line from the Brake Booster. The cut off hose started leaking seafoam and it dripped right on top of where the exhaust manifold ends and the seafoam started burning off from the heat of the exhaust manifold. I assume it's a vacuum line hose.

Can anyone look in their echo and see where this hose goes to? Maybe put up some pictures if you can? Thanks.

If sea-foam came out of it it must be a vacuum line. Somehow, you will have to find a way to trace it back to find out where it goes. Perhaps you can just plug it, but I would not want to do that until knowing what it is.
