check car-parts.com .... good news is any 140E tranny out of any other camry up till 97 will work... i dunno if the speedo is electronic or not in the new ones but at least it'll bolt up.

Finally have a few $$ saved for an AT tranny for my '87 Camry AKA Scooter.
I spoke with a fellow at a transmission shop in Memphis but cannot remember the name of his company.
Anyone care to share where I might find a used or rebuilt please. Am going to start removing old trans. this weekend. Now that gas is $3.10 really miss driving the old car.
