I have a 2008 Corolla with no trailer hitch. I need to attach a rope to pull a load - one that isn't too much for the car, but is too much to pull by hand. Where on the Corolla should I tie the rope as the attachment point on the car, where it has the integrity to not risk damage?

Thanks

There is no place on the rear. If the load is low to the ground you can use the front tow points and reverse the car but they cannot handle very much.

I'd rent a Uhaul pickup.

Can you describe the front tow points or how to find them? I haven't really been able to find an obvious candidate.

Your front tow hooks are behind the front bumper. They look like a D ring.

The safest and effective route to tow any vehicle is to use a dolley or a flat bed trailer. You can rent a car dolley from uhaul. If you want a flatbed trailer, then you'd have to find a commercial tool rental business.
