Hi Everyone.
I’ve been trying to look for a Tacoma for some time. I was particularly looking for a 2012-2015. So I found a 2015 that looks to be in excellent shape and need to make a decision ASAP before it gets sold. Body looks good with no dents or scratches. Seems to drive really well. It’s a TRD off-road and seems to be a little higher than stock. It’s got Bilstein shocks and struts. Did the Trd off-road come from the factory slightly lifted? I do notice from the front that it has a little negative camber.
Is the 2015 a good year? Any particular issues that I should be looking at before making my decision?
Thanks

Yes it’s a dealership.no warranty. I’m also a mechanic and tried to look over the truck as best as I could. This would be my first Tacoma. Trying to get some feed back from those with experiences with Tacomas.

Thanks

OK. I'll give you my feedback as a 2010 SR5 4WD Tacoma owner. The engine and drive train seem good, and durable as well. It's a reliable, basic truck. But that's about it. I wouldn't buy another one. Low mileage, few safety or convenience features. Just my opinion, of course.

The truck you pictured is lifted -- and no, they do not come lifted from the factory. It might have Bilstein 5100 shocks and rear leveling blocks. 5100s are popular upgrade over the factory Bilsteins and the front 5100 shocks are height-adjustable.

Not too much else I can tell you. We bought our 2005 TRD OffRoad new and still own it with no plans to replace it.
It's admittedly a bit crude by modern standards, but it's a Lexus compared to my avatar truck. :)
