The harness in your car is one plug with about 20 pins right?
And the one you just soldered on is two plugs one with 4 pins and the other with about 10?

If yes, you'll need to find the amp in your car and bypass it.

ye i had the same heart attack when working on mine... then i called a friend and he told me bout the seperate harness wiring to bypass. you can also remove the factory amp as well its fairly difficult and requires u to remove a bunch of wireties & clips along with removal of the glovebox to get to it.
