I would appreciate if anyone can tell me why does the first fan setting in my girlfriends 1992 corolla DX does not work:confused: ? the other two or three work fine, but its just the first setting that doesn't work. Anyone know why???

I had the same problem on my old Civic, someone told me there was some relays on the blower fan itself that you could replace, this could also apply to the Corollas. give it a try and check the fan under the passanger side.

I don't know what model and year you have but mine is a 1988 Corolla GT-S and it's not soldered on but plugged into the blower under the dash. If you have the factory repair manual then it shows a picture.
