Please guys don't say rolling in the fenders or what not. I have 95 V6 with Tokico and Eibach setup which supposedly gives 1" front and back since it's a V6. I had 225/45/17 with no problem before. I am going to 18" in the next two weeks and need to know 110% what is the widest and thickest I can go because I live in NYC the city and millions of potholes out there! Can I go 225/40/18 or even 235/40/18 without rubbing? Or just go 215/40/18 to be safe?

If you dont want to go with fender rolling or crazy offsets, then just stick to 225/40 18. I was rolling that on my car with a bigger drop than you and no problems with rubbing. As for 235 width, that depends on your rim width. Im gonna go out on a limb and say youre probably going to run 18x7.5s, in which case stick to 225s.

Thanks man! Here is the exact offset, damnit, keep on forgetting that MAJOR info, the website suggested 215/40/18 but I really want 225/40/18. So I should go with 225/40/18 huh UfoZ?

oh hell yeah if they are 18x8s go with 225s... you would have to stretch the 215s a lot to get them to fit right, and youd need a 45 series to offset the stretch.

I'm planning on getting the Eibach drop on my Gen 5 which is 1.6" in the front and 1.1" in the back (or something like that)... and I'm planning on getting 18x7.5 wheels with 225/40/18... and from what I've been told from EVERYONE that i've asked is that I would still have plenty of room in between my wheel, my fender, and my struts.

For 18x8 rims, I would recommend 225/40 18 tires.
