Wondering if anyone has any information or prediction on which year will get the mid cycle refresh... 2021 or 2022?

I am thinking of trading in for a 2020 in the summer but I may decide to wait longer if the 2021 will be updated.

They just introduced the TRD and AWD models for 2020. I'd be surprised if they do another refresh before 2023.

In typical product cycles, the 4th year means a mid model changeover, so for sure some design changes. This is something that the Camry hasn't missed.

I am talking about the mid cycle refresh not the full redesign.

For example 2012 redesign, mid cycle refresh 2015.

2007 redesign, mid cycle refresh 2010.

2002 redesign, mid cycle refresh 2005.

If they are keeping these time lines that means 2021 would be mid cycle refresh.

Wouldn't be surprised due to 2 reasons:

1. Historical references (like you pointed out)
2. It gives a reason for people to sign another lease (typical lease is 3 years)

So if they want to keep people who lease from going to an Accord or Sonata, they kinda have to and I would be surprised if they don't.
