I bought a set of clean injectors thinking the were 89, but the part number shows they're for 88, can i still use these? Any help would be appreciated?!

check the resistance values. at some point around that year they went from low resistance injectors that used an external resistor to high resistance ones that did not.
If you use the low resistance ones in a vehicle that is setup for high resistance ones you will be buying a new ECM in short order.
I don't have info immediately available for trucks older than 1990 or I would be able to give you a more definitive anwer
If I turn the plug upside down it fits, but when i try it the normal way it doesnt match up. I am selling the clean 88's on ebay, so if you know anyone looking let them know! Thanks for your alls help.
