Will 4runner tire carrier fit 91 toy pickup?

I was wondering if anyone has mounted a swing out tire carrier from a 4runner on thier Pickup? Here is a pic of the tire carrier i am referring to. I have 1991 regular cab.

theres some brakets that go on the inside of the body you will need as well, but i don't see why you wouldn't be able to mount that on a pickup
