Hello, I am a new owner of a 2018 Chr Xle prem. I have been shoping around for accessories to get for my new car and Iwanted to get a dash mount for my phone. I was wondering if the suction mounts would stick to the chr. When I look at the dash, it seems like a suction mount would would have a hard time sticking to it because of the the dash texture, although I dont have a mount to test the theory. I was curious if anyone had any luck using suction mounts, I'd prefer not to block a vent or risk putting too much stress on the vent with a clip mount.

Regular suction cup will not.
I had a cup once, made out of some super soft and sticky gel. That'd stick to anything.

Sunction cups don't work on dashes but there are other variants of them that will work using friction. These friction type mounts (when weighted) work well.
