We've been overseas with our 2019 Highlander for 2 years so I haven't been able to have the fuel pump swapped out per the recall. My appointment at the dealership is next week. However, I'm free this weekend to install an aftermarket hitch from eTrailer which I need for the following weekend. Time is tight.
As I understand it, they have to drop the fuel tank to replace pump. Is the hitch going to be in their way? I know, not really my problem, but I also don't want to find out they had to uninstall the hitch and I have to double-check all the bolts, etc.
