2 types of lug nuts....Acorn & Shank types

My OEM stock wheelies uses the acorn lug nuts. I recently had to buy a wheel/tire combo to use as a spare from a Tacoma which uses the shank type. Make sure that you have the correct lug nuts!...
BTW (by the way), I am puzzled by the dimension 5 x 4.75" that I read.....my stock 16" steel wheelies are 6 x 5 1/2" ( 6 lug holes and spaced 5 1/2" apart)

My parts genius said this wheel was never an option and the wheel is no longer being offered. There are some online. I only have three of these available so my questions are...

1) How much to chrome a wheel? I have no idea
2) Anyone have one laying around I can buy reasonably?

True that these wheels were never offered on the T-100 but they were used on other platforms like the Tacoma, Sequoia, and Tundra. I have only seen chrome stock alloy wheels in the parts department once and they weren't cheap fer,the set. I'm gonna guess gitting one wheel chromed will be kinda pricey but I would check with yer local wheel shop or metal finisher. ;)

These alloy wheels were stock on the T-100.

If you aren't set on chrome, those wheels in satin can be had for about $200 per set pretty often on Craigslist. I see them pretty regularly, as they were on many Tacomas, as well as the Tundras and Sequoias as Bam mentioned.
