I thought I read about cleaning below the cowling under the windshield wipers but can't find any reference with search. Just a reminder if you park outside a lot the drains get clogged and you can get an overflow into blower fan housing. Take off the cowling and wash out the two corners until water runs easily down the fenders. You can snake with a piece of weed eater line periodically without removing the cowling. One other area to take note of (which I didn't notice before) is there is TWO FUNNELS on each windshield wiper post under the cowling which clog and might cause a problem with water not being directed correctly. These pull off and are easy to clean and reinstall. Mine were totally clog with black crud so I didn't even notice these were funnels till I took them off.
