This may be an odd request but having recently purchased my first sunshade, I’ve learned they aren’t exactly equal. Mine are the two oval pieces that are way to big, don’t fit around the rearview mirror where it attaches to the windshield and these things are a real trick to spin back into their case.

So, I’m curious if anyone has a suggestion on one of these that fits Very nicely in the highlander and either rolls up or is folded up accordion style.

I know it’s cold in a lot of places but it was 85 in Florida today

I can't offer a suggestion, BUT....Years ago we had a set like those. We used to laugh so hard that we started crying trying to get them back in the folded shape. Our 14 year old son could do in seconds! I always said we should video tape him doing that! We didn't...I think we bought the kind that just rolls up.

Have a hard cover for my Camry and Frontier from these guys, expensive but well worth it.

This is the one I use, very easy to fold back down, I just fold it down and stick it in my driver door storage section. I have been using it for a couple of years, the middle is not ridged and easy to put under your mirror. Comes with a steering wheel cover but I never needed to use that. I have used other sunshades and they are all kind of garbage or too bulky to store, this one pops up fast and can put away just as easily. I do have to put my sun visors down to keep it in place so it does not fall down. Magneles Car Sun Shade

I also throw my vote for spending the money ONCE and be done - covercraft is simply stated The Solution. Period.
Went to walmart got cheap 2 piece ,they have 2 sizes. Smaller fits camry perfect. Less than 10 bucks. If you want perfect fit buy big accordion and cut to fit. Mine blicks 98% so it protects dash interior and steering wheel. Has a little light leak but who cares

Like others here, also have CoverCraft sun screens for all of our Toyotas. They aren't the cheapest, but they fit perfectly and are very well made. Should last as long as any car. (y)

Although colors may be limited, they often have them on Amazon for less than their website.

I get mine from heatshieldstore.com. Custom fit and are not as expensive as covercraft. They also make custom shields for the side windows as well as the sunroof.

Sometimes, "cheap is as cheap does"

Sure you can get cheap ones,,,,can even scotch tape aluminum foil to a poster board template and get an exact fit. But you want something that does what it is intended, easy to deploy and store, lasts for the life of the vehicle, blocks heat both by reflectance and thick insulation, and will not cause any unintended damage to the interior....a $40-50K vehicle deserves that for less cost than a tank of gas.

Covercraft all well designed for all of the above.....felt backing and edging prevents damage to the vehicle interior (and driver's nose) when installing and removing, thick, hard foam is a lightweight insulator, segment stitching prevents tearing and flex damage.....but most importantly the forward reflective surface is NOT that reflective i.e. a matte finish.

Save a few bucks and put some cheapo crap covered with high reflective foil and yes it will block IR heating by reflection but ask yourself where does all that blocked heat go? Certainly not absorbed by the backing, but back onto the glass which e.g. when parked in beach parking lot will make the windshield glass so hot that you can get a second degree burn on your hands while playing with the spring loaded crap hoops....doubters can touch it to conform. Get a sudden rainstorm and when the windshield cracks or leaks eventually develop from melted sealer, simply blame Toyota.

Long lasting......still have a half dozen from older vehicles that were traded......make excellent kneeling pads.
