Hey guys!

My fiance has a 2001 Corolla, and I am attempting to replace the windshield wiper blades. I am using a direct replacement from the local PepBoys (Exact-Fit). The problem I am having is that I cant seem to get the blade off the hook like the diagram shows.. There seems to be a plastic bracket holding it on to the arm. Anybody ever experience this and have a solution as to how to get it off??

Thanks in advance!

Tim

It's not hard. Pull the arm up to get it off the windshield. Assuming the wiper arm now points up, depress a tab on the down side and slide the blade down with it turned 45 degrees for ease of getting it out of the way. Maneuver the new blade into position and push up to secure. Can be done in 2 minutes. Good luck.

Great - thanks for the advice.. I couldn't find the appropriate tab to press in order to release the wiper from the arm.
