ok this will be my first winter w/ a CAI on.
I know alot of ya'll are from the GTA and know what they weather is like here (i.e. cold wet snowy rainy)

question is, does onybody take off the CAI during the winter?

Im worried about the moisture and whatnot

My filter is down behind the bumper w/ a hole cut in the undergaurd plastic splasheild thingy... the hole is cut off to the side of the filter, not directly under or in front of it....

shouldn't be a problem in the GTA....hardly ever do we get water to hte point where it could go that high on our cars....snow...maybe....but that shouldn't get in tho

As long as the filter is not completely submerged under water, it should be ok. A little moisture on the filter is ok, but when it is
completey soaked, that's a problem.

A little bit of water into the motor is beneficial, even. Breaks up some carbon. Old mechanic's trick

Wee puddles & a bit a splash, you should be fine. Deep standing water, watch out.
