I've stripped out the entire harness before, and can't picture why you'd have a problem? Everything should be able to simply be dis-connected.
What specifically?

Well, the harness comes out of a fuse box, then out a hole in the wheel well, then back to another hole in the back of the wheel well. I'm not having trounle with the easy stuff like the lights, wipers etc. It's that hole in the back of the wheel well. Where does that cluster of wiring go? I hope not the dash. If I can't find a connecting plug then I have to cut a slot in my new wheel well and slide the harness through that...and that seems like a bad idea..Any ideas on where that cluster goes or where it might unplug?
