yeah you have to cut the cigar adapter off the neons, find the power wire of the two, see where it went to in realation to the cigar adapter (the tip or the outside) look at the back of the cars cigar lighter, see which one goes to the tip or the out side. splice the neons power (i wanna say it went to the outside thing) to the same (outside?) wire on the cigar lighter. and then just body ground the neons. ill try to see if i can get some pictures today of one i recently did

I wired mine to the back of the cigar lighter, took appart that little dash and found few wires, I don't rember which, but I wired both of my neons to it and put a switch by the center console. Works pretty good:thumbup:

k i seee what your sayin but would it be ok to wire multiple neons to the cig plug? or would there not be ebough power because it is only 12v?
ok you have to remember, that voltage is not a factor if you wire it correctly, if you wire ti in series, or in a single loop with multiple neons then you will not have enough power. But if you wire it in parallel, each neon has it's own circuit connecting to the batt, then you will have no problem with voltage, just don't leave ur neons on with teh engine off for too long cuz u'll drain the batt quicker.

I have an interesting problem. I have 2 interior neons, my cb radio, and my cell phone charger wired together. It worked fine for the first couple of weeks, but now it won't work most of the time. It randomly will come on for a couple of minutes, and then it won't have power for a while. I have all the wires, after the fuses, spliced into one wire, then to a switch, then I went directly to the battery. Could it be a problem that I used random spair wires I had lieing around, and they might not be able to hold enough current? I tried turning off a couple of things at once, and the other thing still didn't get power, so I assume that's not the problem. Could it be the alternator? Any info anyone has on this would be helpful.
