Hey Guys, question, i have a sirius reciver that i placed under my seat. it is the kind that connects to my DVD player in the dash, and it needs to have a power supply that turns on and off when the truck goes on and off. i lifted the sill plate at the drivers side door and there are a bunch of wires there to tap into. i tried to tie into one that goes on and off and it was not enough power. Does anyone know what colore will work or where else to hook to?

Since you have to run the DIN cable to behind the radio, just grab the ignition wire there, should be red on the aftermarket harness.

you should only have 2 wires coming out of it right? One antenna and one to the HU? It should get it's power right from the HU.

no the power is from the wire i am trying to hook up ( the one that turns on and off). is there an area i can plug into. the power output on this sirius reciver is really low.

If the wire you are using will not work, You will definitely find it behind the radio, or you can go behind the cig lighter plug.
