i just fixed up a leak i had on the connections on my fuel filter after replacing it, and i took it for a test drive and it feels like i got some power back. would the regained pressure in the fuel lines result in gaining that power back?

maybe a little I'd think.....but not much...

because if the loss of pressure really affected your air/fuel ratio, you should also get a cel light

Yea, the pressure will be resumed considering it was lost during the leak. Might want to check into that further.
