...it is VERY VERY VERY long (probably takes well over an hour to read)

Edmunds.com hired a staffer to go out and work for a hi-pressure dealership (not sure, you might get the clues), and then a low-pressure one (Saturn I think).

It is FACINATING to read, as there is some really interesting stuff - if you are going to buy a car, definetly read it!

I certainly think I have learned from that.

Any idea what the 'high-pressure' car dealer was? I assume Honda, Nissan, or Toyota.

Our Reno Subaru dealer (instead of Carson City) seems to be awfully hi-pressure.

We wanted to buy an extended warranty for our 2001 Outback, so we called the Reno dealer where we bought the car (for a VERY good price new):

$2,000, firm, no less.

Then we called the Carson dealer, they did it for just under a grand.

Exact same Subaru warranty, just 30 miles away from each other.
