Looking for the 7th-gen trunk trim panel from a Canadian Corolla that has the Corolla Special text with a graphic line separating the two. I'm going to repaint it anyway and probably sand it down, so some wear is OK. Have one? Know where I can get one? Let me know! Will be sent to 98607, Camas WA.

Isn't that just the stock trunk center panel with the -------SPECIAL graphic added? Or did they change that part for the 96-97 model years. If you are sanding and painting it, do you need the graphic or is that the whole point you want it to say special?

I don't know...during my work in Canada I saw 7th gens with either the 96-97 DX/LE red and white reflective panel, the standard flat or ridged panel, or some with the SPECIAL or DELUXE graphic. I don't know if this was a dealer option, an aftermarket thing, or an official option, I was never able to stay up there long enough to actually start calling dealers and doing some digging, and I never did get the chance to try and match up the SPECIAL / DELUXE with the trim level badges.

The entire point is that I want that special graphic, if it was a factory or dealer option. I'll sand everything around it if the graphic is flat.

If you don't have any luck finding one then perhaps you could go to a graphics/decal shop and have one made. They should be able to make one identical to that, providing you take the picture in with you.

I see. I'll keep my eyes open for one. You could contact some wreckers here online and see if they have one. You might just get lucky.
