Hi All, So I ordered on line 4 oem used mudflaps for my 99 Rav4 (which did not come with mudflaps.) I put the front on no problem, when I got to the rear flaps they installed fine against the fender well using the screws and holes that were already there, but when I got to the bottom underneath I noticed that there was a hole in the flap but no place to bolt it to, that left me puzzled until I saw a Rav similar to mine in a parking lot with mudflaps and took a look up underneath the back and noticed that there is a small bracket that I need, it has 2 holes in it to bolt to the frame and one tab for the hole in the bottom of the mudflap to screw to. If anyone has these 2 brackets and bolts I would, like to buy them and will buy the rear mudflaps too if you have them. Thank you.

Check Car-part.com and see if there is a salvage yard close to you that has a Rav4 with the rear panels intact. The yards won't list the mudflaps but you can search rear panel or anything close that will bring up multiple pics so you know the Rav they have still have the flaps in place. Then just go pick an pull. I saw several but don't know where your located.

In case some of you wondered why I want this bracket it's because the LR mudflap is too close to the tailpipe for me, I tried to pull it away with a wire tie but it just doesn't work out. I did see where a junkyard in PA. has a parts car with mudflaps on it and I intend to contact them.
