Hi,

I'm planning to replace a stock head lamp for my 05 camry with a xenon light buld.

I also thought about HID but it's expensive so I'd go with a xenon light bulb.

Any body know what's the brand and model for a xenon light buld that works well for an 05 camry ?

The "xenon" you're referring to isn't really a xenon bulb. Cheap bulb manufacturers like to market their halogen bulbs with the blue film on them as "xenon" but they are in fact a filament bulb, not a gas bulb.

Do not get HID unless you plan to retrofit projectors into your headlamps.

HID need to retrofit the projector ? do you have any pics so I can tell how bad is it going to be ?

Xenon buld I mentioned, they claimed it's about 4300k color and it's about $25-50/ each.

You don't need a projector, as they do have some HID reflectors, although generally speaking having a halogen projector is better then a halogen reflector housing. In either case, you will be giving off some glare.

4300K is the best color to choose for brightness, but you can't buy HID bulbs for $25-$50, and those "Xenon's" aren't that much brighter then the stock bulbs.

Wow I stand corrected, I guess it's the ballasts which cost the most.
