XM install with Nav

Has anyone done there own XM install with nav? I am trying the glove box method and can't seem to find the correct connector plug on the rear of the Nav head. The wire bundles are so tight that I can't see around them with a mirror either.

Also any idea how much heat the receiver box can put out? My right kick panel contains the skid ecu box where others have installed the receiver against the wall. I could still fit the xm receiver next to it but would leave very little room for cooling air to circulate.
