Hey everyone,

About to buy (Believe it or not through Costco)

Anyway, I am torn between the XSE model and the Limited model

These are my must have features and even though the Toyota comparison matrix is good it is not perfect

First, I am leasing a 2020 RAV 4 Hybrid 3 years/ 15k a year NO money down (Wished the plug in variant was available but it's not)

850 Fico Score

The MUST have feature I want are

Heated Seats (front)
Sunroof
Heated Steering wheel
POWER LUMBAR support ( a must)
WI Fi
Remote Engine start on the FOB
7 inch dashboard instrumentation and 8 inch multimedia display. with HD radio
18 inch ALLOY wheels ( black or chrome, doesn't matter)
The model with the most safety features and parking assist

Do I need Toyota's NAV system since my smartphone will be using Android Auto for its navigation? or does their NAV system come with special enhanced proprietary features?

Leather seats
Foldable mirrors with turn signals

So do I get a XSE or Limited?

Which model will give me my wish list?

I would also like to buy an EXTRA pair of mats and a 3rd FOB since there are 3 drivers

I am also trading in a 2013 Altima with 65k miles

Again, Costco will do the negotiation, get me my lowest price and then I travel to dealer to pick up

Hope to ge this for around 32-34K

First time I am buying a car like this not directly stressing myself at a dealership

Thank you for all and any responses !! Truly and happy holidays !

My wife has a 2017 RAV4h Limited. We got a package that happened to have the Birds Eye View, which we thought a gimmick. We LOVE that. It seriously is convenient when parking. For 2020, you have to get that via a Limited (I think with a package), which is what I plan to get when I get a 2020 for me. My $.02.

With limited (2020), almost all of ur wishlist should be covered. Some might need advanced package(technology). With trade-in, you probably should be able to get it in the range u r expecting. Best of luck.

I would say get the Limited. The one feature missing from your list is the "overhead camera" and I it's only available on the Limited. Once you drive a car (especially an SUV) with the overhead camera, you won't want to drive a vehicle without this option IMHO. Toyota.com described all the options available.

In IMO, the built-in GPS is crap. However, with Apple Play, you can display Waze, Apple Maps or Google Maps on the dash screen. Not sure if you have an Android phone with Apple Play if it works.
