Had my truck about 10 weeks. 06 DC, 57k miles, normally drive it to work 2 or 3 days per week, drive an accord other days to save gas, 45 miles one way plus some short trips during the day, but I digress. Anyway, trucks been in the garage all week since Tuesday. Cranked it up this morning (sat) to pull it out (to start the cabin filter mod thank you very much!) and POOF nice puff of blue smoke. Did the filter, cranked again, another POOF. First time I noticed it, recent oil change, hasn't been consuming any oil. Should I be concerned? Took it out and put some miles on it, didn't do it again.

For some reason, they seem to do that once in a while, though luckily not often. Doesn't seem to be much cause for alarm. Here's some discussion on it, and there's probably more lurking in old threads:
