Awesome day today, just got the inserts painted so i figured i'd put it in show mode today for all to see! It's pretty much finished my first stage of mods. Anymore and my mileage and comfort will suffer! Its not as nice as Wonderboys, but i am happy with it.

I dont have the part number for the pedals, i threw away the box.

Weapon R wasn't hard to install, it was just McGyvering the brackets to hold the intake cause the instructions just suck. It feels torquier, and louder for sure, but i still have trouble telling if the car is on at all!!

Ah dumpedcorolla, now that is really really low. I hate to say it, but at that low point, it has a chubby characteristic.

Ah dumpedcorolla, now that is really really low. I hate to say it, but at that low point, it looks kinda cute. Its like a chubby car with small tucked in wheels, u just wanna pinch its cheeks! But yours looks pretty sweet. I really like the white color and the clean look!

Is there any way you can post some pics or a video on how you installed it? i plan on buying that intake later on.

MXS funny you say it looks chubby. your the second person out of 153 comments to say that. i dont see it but thats cool lol. yea its low but when i see other corollas who used just the lowering coils it looks like a stock xrs height almost. not sure how you can say i have small wheels when we both have 18 inch? i've seen 19 and 20's lol wow to much looks stupid. you say you dont look as good as wonderboy but you have the twin to his car if you took the plastic shields off on the hood and window. i think with all the inside stuff done your better then his.

man im liking that setup! i wish i had the moola to do it..

Just some old blue cold cathodes i bought for my computer.

As for installing the SRI, its not too hard to install, i dont think it necessitates a tutorial. You just have to find a way to mount the brackets to the airbox housing screws by bending it into place and securing it to the filter. Then just really tighten the rubber adapters to the intake inlet so it doen't fall off.

Yes, we will also need a more precise location away from crowded areas but scenic for a good shoot! Oh yeah, Wonderboy has the snow tires on. Maybe when he puts his rims back on, we should meet.

I hope you raised your car a little bit and found a good balance between ur lowrider look and basic driveability, like me and wonderboy.

I know this was posted months ago, but where did you get your lights and how hard was it to install them/what's your set up? And I assume they are legal in BC just wondered if you know if they are in all of Canada (or anyone else)???

Blue Lights are reserved for service vehicles. My cousin got pulled over for having Blue LED WasherFluid Knobs on his Hood. No Ticket, but the cop said take them off, Blue Lights are reserved for Service Vehicles.

But head lights are different because "Pure" white kinda looks blue at times... The Laws refer to LED's and Ground Effect Lighting under the car primarily. So no Blue/Red/Green/White LED's in your grill or under your car. BUT Inside you can have a disco party. :naughty:

I used progress technology springs for an 04 matrix. They dropped it about 2 inches and ride quality is just a tad stiffer though. Its a good balance, still enough gap for all those damn potholes and dips around my area but the positive comments i get are priceless!! lowering really does alot to enhance the look but it takes alot of effort to get it done right! Plus, u will have to drive differently and avoid certain places. Theres perks and tradeoffs.

there is a problem thought, i am beginning to have a problem getting out of my apartments parkade because of all the snow that has weathered the concrete!!! I might have to remove the lowering springs or park outside now....damnit.

No, the sun auto ignition kit is not worth it. In fact, the only thing i would get for this car is the TRD drop in intake filter. Its quiet but still gives it a little more power and is worth the money. All other engine mods are kinda useless unless you go all out AND get an ECU modification. By then, its too late, you shoulda gotten an XRS.........yes, don't remind me, i already know..........
