Nice video. Is it accurate that in headlamp mode the blue and white LED are on at the same time? Looked like white outlined in blue but maybe it was the exposure. Thanks! I like!
I don't know the answer to that for sure. Here is a close-up picture I took on my work bench of the blue mode. The outer edges are definitely whitish looking.

Well, no pictures of the installation as 95% complete today and I never intended this to be a "how to" thread. I am happy to share with my experiences and give pointers based on my successes and failures. Everything is finished and wired up except the passenger side turn signal wire. Very tight to do anything on the passenger side but it can be done. I looked at several different approaches to install. I removed the plastic air deflector from under the very front of the car. Takes like 5 minutes tops. Gives you good access to the drivers side install and allows the wiring to the passenger side light. I couldn't access where the light goes on the pass side from underneath the car like the drivers side. Way to tight for my hands. You got 3 different fluid bottles in your way on that side. Then I looked at removing the passenger side headlight and attack it that way. (n) After 15 minutes I decided that was way to involved. So I did it the way the video I posted via the inner wheel well liner and it was a breeze. Just watch the video. I will attach it here again. I tapped into the wiring for the drivers headlight right behind the plug to the light. Not hard on drivers side. Green wire on headlight plug goes to yellow turn signal wire and the black wire on headlight plug is where the blue wire for the new light goes. I pulled my power from a 10 amp fuse in the fuse housing under the hood on the drivers side using a fuse tap. I grounded the system right behind this fuse block to an existing bolt into the inner fender. These I will take a picture of tomorrow. Its not a hard or high tech install by any means. But like every newer car I have worked on in the past 20 years there is 10 pounds of:poop: everywhere!! Watch this video again. It really is correct. I love the way these look. They are bright and they will be seen by everyone in the opposing lane. Which Is why I was interested in them.

Watch this link. It really is pretty accurate. Notice they only show goes thru the passenger side inner fender well. Trust me there is a reason! Venza Daytime runing light (amazon.com)

What's the other thread in which you say you talked about why you wanted these?
I believe there is a thread about what your favorite modification is you have done. A guy posted his lights after his install, and I wanted them ever since. Been a number of months ago. Sorry I don't have a link.

I like these, they definitely add to the night time appearance, but just a cautionary note about the blue colored function of the lights.

In Wisconsin, blue lights facing forward or backward on any vehicle are illegal, because the law enforcement uses blue and red on their vehicles.

This may not apply in other states, but just an FYI, in case.

Well, not sure if they are legal or not here in Ohio. But after installing them I didn't like the blue lights so much anymore. So I cut the blue wire on the lights set and added a set of butt connectors so I can just unplug them and they will stay white with the headlights. They will just be an additional DRL both with and without the headlights. Here are a couple of pictures each way with the headlights on. If I want the blue lights back I just need to plug them back together. Which way do you guys like them??

Agree, it looks much better with white lights. Blue looks little cheap/childish.

In California you can only have 4 white lights on the front. But also sure you can't have blue on the front.
Never heard of such a thing. At least in Ohio. Is that counting the headlights? If so, out of the factory I guess mine had 6 if you count 2 DRL lights on each side which is 4 plus the headlights is 6. On low beams for gods sake. Having a limited I got 2 high beams also. We won't count them. o_O Then my fogs lights is 8 and the new added lights makes 10. Guess I'm a criminal out your way!! What if you bought a 22' model and got the factory fog lights? Can't imagine if it came out of the factory it would be illegal out there.:devilish:

My set arrived today, super easy to install with the exception of the passenger side signal light wire, that took longer than everything else. I kept wishing I had smaller hands, but it's worth it, they look and work great
Wth, and your blue wire and blue lights work fine? What did you do to tie into the headlight wires?

Good to hear it went so easy for you. I looked back through my posts and I didn't tell anyone that you can remove a single bolt or push pin at the top of the washer fluid neck and pull the neck up and out of the grommet at the top of the tank. With this filler neck out of your way it is tons easier to get to the headlight wires. I fought around that filler neck for over an hour before I took a good look at it. Sorry for the late info but check it out.
