Fog Light replacement

My wife bought a 2013 Limited black/black, and the yellow cast of the fog lights don't match the headlights. Has anyone replaced them? Find a direct replacement - quality - bulb? Thanks

Was the fog light part easy to install? I'm a bit worried of compromising the car since I don't know what I'm doing. Isn't your low beams already HID since it is a Limited?

Do you have a link for the DDM tuning kit?

you can just get a set of super white h11s (or whatever size they are, i cant remember) they're still halogen, but they're much whiter than the stock fogs. That's what i did, and it looks great. the fog lights are not projector style, so if you use HIDs you'll get a lot of light scatter and blind oncoming traffic, if you're running HIDs it should really be a projector housing, like the low beams.

I did the switch on my wife's Audi A5 to the Hoen H11 Xenonmatch so that the color of the fog lights was white and matched the LED running lights.

I've e-mailed Hoen to see if they have a direct replacement bulb for the Avalon - maybe they're all the same?

Anyhow, the end result is a bright white light instead of the yellow cast on the car now.

I'll update when they respond.

Thanks for the link gk2410. So I ended up trying the Hoen Xenon Match Fog Lights. I think they're a close match to my HIDs. Was initially worried with all the talk of losing the fog light functionality with using "white" fog lights, but glad that it seems more myth than reality from I read, and I’m happy with how the lights now look. :D Anyways here's some pics for those might be interested (sorry bout the quality):

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I just purchased the limited but your headlights in the second pic look much whiter than mine and look different than your other pics. But the difference in the fogs are amazing. Oh, no issues with visibility at all or worry about them getting to hot or anything like that at all? Thank you very much for your time and input on this.

Yes I apologize about the quality of the pics. I was trying to get the before and after pics as accurate as possible, but my little point-n-shoot camera sucks. They are actually the same HID lights between the two pics, just slightly different angles from my pictures.

Now, in terms of heat on the new FOGS, they actually should burn cooler b/c its Xenon vs Halogen gas bulbs (with the added benefit of supposedly less filament deterioration -- at least from what I've researched). I was also careful before I bought them to make sure they were the exact same wattage (55w) as the OEMs-- so that there would be no concerns with shortages with sensors and fuses.

As for the visibility: I find the overall new fog beams to be much brighter (and I actually really do like the way they aesthetically look as they are a closer match to my HIDs). However, interestingly enough, I find it now a bit harder to discern the difference between my HID beams and my Fogs [when I'm sitting in my car and toggling the Fogs off/on] b/c they are much closer in lumens and color temps now -- As oppose to the OEM fogs where you can see the yellower hue a bit more easily. So overall, I guess its a trade-off: Brighter overall beams from both the HIDs and fogs, or slightly better contrast between the two different light sources.

Hope this helps.
