You must be on a diet

"10. Subliminal doesnt live anywhere near me"

Who does?

Normal is a matter of perspective, the crazier you are the crazier someone else can be and still be "normal"

I'm thankful for the sister-in-law I have who is the best cook I've ever known whom I'm visiting on Turkey Day.

I'm thankful my daughter is doing well in college and still happens to be a great kid despite being a product of my loins.

I'm thankful that I have a good steady job with decent pay, unlike some of my friends who work seaonally.

And lastly, I'm thankful for the friends I have. If you can keep one good friend throughout your life whom you can really trust and count on no matter what, your doing pretty well. I have several.

Happy Thanksgiving.

ha yeah, I hate it when I die in my sleep :D

pee_cup don't you mean ex gf's best friend? or are you a shifty bastard getting 2 for the price of 1,
shifty bastard, me, no. The way it worked out was interesting. Im with Katie right now and her best friend still thinks her and I are together and doesnt want to think otherwise even though I havent seen her for 2 months or so. The crapp of it all is that like with every relation in the past , things go real awesome and then out of nowhere it turns to poop. Like when you buy a nice new reliable car and all the parts are new so nothing is supposed to go wrong and then all the sudden its falling apart like a 30 year old Yugo. Everything was perfect until last night, got some weird vibes. I'll find out tonight what up. :ugh3: Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Sad and Funny.....

My grandma isn't doing so well. Thats how life goes, She's getting old, has heart problems that she neglects and its sad watching her deteriorate, each week I see her she is that much less mobile, senile , and looking like hell. 3 months ago she was up and about, happy, driving around ( more like aimlessly plowing into garbage cans ) but yesterday I went to visit her and she was bed-ridden, wont ever get up again. She's so up on morphine and O.C. and just sits up in bed loooking down only talking every few minutes. Its real sad and sobering to see someone first-hand on the fine line between here and there. Everyone knows its inevitable and knows someone that has died, but I think this is the first time I have been mature enough to really grasp it and ponder my own life.

The funny part though is listening to my grandma's ramblings. She keeps looking at my foot saying "Whats that?" .....then a minute later... " Is that a Helmet?" another minute later she looks at a tea cup on the table and says " Is that a sandwich?"
another minute later she looks at my moms purse sitting on the floor and says " Is that my cat?" she sat there for a few minutes silent and fell asleep sitting up for just a sec. When she woke up I said laughing "How was your nap!" it took a lot of energy but she lovingly told me to "SHUT ........UP!" The best part was at a point she seemed to be in some real pain , head down, my dad holding her, she tries to spit out something beginning with "SHHHHHHH" and finally spits it out "SHHHHHOOOT, ....... I ALMOST SAID SHIT "
upset that she almost cursed but ended up doing it anyway.

It made me thankful for life and mad at myself for worrying about stupid things like what kind of BMW i should get instead of enjoying life and helping people out more. You have times like these that are a nice reality check for you and you just dont want to forget how you feel.
Theres more to life than what we are in right now but it IS important to enjoy it while you are here ( in the right ways ). It's been a pretty down weekend for me ( for reasons both obvious and untold) and you will all know if things go sour with the chick cause there will be another "drove up a hill thread" as I will be out with my buddies:thumbup:

I'm Thankful for alot

Really I have so many things to be thankful for I probably couldn't even think of them all. But a short list would go something like this:

Wonderful, caring, and understanding wife,
a decent job with a good boss,
generally good health,
a lot of really great friends
A Toyota truck that was given to me by one of those friends.
And I'm really thankful that I have time to spare that can be spent here on this forum sharing Toyota experiences with you all.

Oh and good music too

certainly not the least of which would be Pink Floyd.

But really I'm a metal head

Shadows Fall has a rockin' cover of "welcome to the machine"

P.S. and very thankful for Posi.......
