Notice the passenger rear carpet was wet when I cleaned my car. Don't know where water came from. Water must have traveled to front because front passenger floor is now wet also . Pulled up front carpet and it is soaked with water. I check ac drain hose and it was good, no leaks, no clogs. Check sunroof drain holes and did water test no water came out. Cleaned drain holes with air and did water test. Water came out the front under car. Can blocked sunroof drains cause water to backup on floor. It's gonna rain today, guess I will see if the problem is solved . Now I have to find a way to dry the carpet. Anyone out there ever had that wet floor problem.

Blocked drains will cause the water to run down the "A,B & C" pillars and soak the carpet. If the front carpet is wet, it can run to the back. There is a TSB out for the drain hose coming loose in the headliner. PM me and I will send you the TSB "2011-T-SB-0037 Water Leak at Headliner". The AC can cause the same problem, but usually only on the passenger side.

Had a rear sunroof drain on my GEN 6 become disconnected and fixed that. But in my case it was the driver's side rear foot well that was sloshy and the wet had travelled a bit up under the driver's seat. You'd be best off if you can store it in a garage over a weekend to fix this. I pulled out the driver's seat, both driver's side door sills, the driver's seat belt anchor bolt, the B pillar lower panel, the back seat lower cushion - basically anything that held down the carpet except the front center console. Doing this I was able to pull up the rear-most outer corner and a good portion of the outer edge of the carpet and pull out the padding that had been affected. I shopvac'd (using the pinched end attachment) the exposed wet carpet over and over until it seemed dry. Then I used one of those massive "binder" clips on the carpet's corner and strung that to the front pass oh-crap handle to keep that area of floor exposed and give hands free access to the edges of the next nearest pads (that I was unable to remove). I shopvac'd those pad edges well, then I snugged old towels at the edges of those next nearest pads and left them there to draw out additional moisture, changing the towels out if they became saturated. I took my shopvac to the pads I removed and ran the pinch attachment over each side relentlessly. I put binder clips on each of them and hung them from my garage rafters to let them hang/drip dry. Then I left everything overnight with both driver's side doors open. Checked the next morning and used the blow dryer on anything that seemed at all moist to the touch. Then left everything as long as I could and still leave me time to re-install all the pads and lay down the carpet enough to put back the driver's seat & seatbelt anchor bolt. I left the back seat, B pillar panel, and door sills out, leaving me with the ability to still pull up at least a bit of the carpet from that same rear-most outer corner. I drove it that way for a week, checking for moisture in the pads and carpet - my biggest concern being that I would end up locking up some moisture under the carpet and leave it no way to evaporate if I buttoned it all back up. I put it all back together the next weekend when everything seemed and felt dry.

tl;dr: it was a PITA and took way more time and effort than anyone wants to expend to just dry stuff out - but what are you gonna do?

Thanks for info guys. I don't have a garage to put car in. Hopefully cleaning out the sunroof drain holes fixed it. It's raining in my area now so I guess I will see if it gets wet again. This weekend am gonna take out seat and try to dry carpet. Not looking forward to it but don't want to pay and arm and leg to have a shop do it. Wish me luck. Luna2 I think the water traveled down right b pillar because I first notice wet carpet on that side.

If you have a good ShopVac, you can probably extract much of the water. If not, maybe rent a rug doctor carpet cleaner and use that to suck the water out.

Well it rained all night in my area. Checked the floors this morning no new water on carpet. Guess cleaning sunroof drain fixed it. Will keep checking as day goes by.
Great news. Hope it was as simple as that!
