I have a 06 Corolla (automatic transmission) with 44,000 milles on it. A few months ago the car lost power, when you push the pedal the revs don't go up, it stays at idle. Call the dealer, the said bad ECM so they replaced it. A month later the car came with the same problem, when you push the pedal nothing happens, the check engine light came on, and when you try to shift from parking to drive it makes in a hard and rough way. To make the car run I have to turn it off then turn it on again. Call the dealer the said can't be the ECM again, anyway they check the car. After two more visits to the dealer they change one of the O2 sensors. Today the cars continue with the problem and no one can tell me what is happening with the car. I am desperate. I will apreciate some help.
