Wonder if you could trim the Ipad Pro 12.9 protector to fit.

 

I have a 12.9” iPad Pro — it’s a different aspect ratio than the Highlander’s 12” screen.

They have a protector for your instrument clusters too. About $50...for both that and your 12.3 display. Not bad...might have to try it out when I get my ride.

 

Any feedback from anyone on this one from NuShield Anti-Fingerprint, Anti-Microbial, Anti-Glare Films For Screens for the 12.3" screen?

The glare makes the screen totally useless at times. I went to back out of a parking spot the other day and turned to look behind me and my husband asked why I wasn't just using the screen. I told him, "Because all I can see on the screen right now is a reflection of your shirt."

They list 2021 Highlander Platinum and we have a 2021 Limited, but since we have the 12.3" option I assume it would be the same.

 

Went with protech for the 12.3 and 7 center screens. Over priced but cut to fit and pretty easy to apply.

You can purchase a small sheet of 3M auto bra clear film. It's great for protecting touchscreens. And, it doesn't affect the touch functions.

I have a stash of it from years ago when I installed it on my own car. I now apply it on many personal items for protecting from scratches. I've put it on DSLR touchscreens, car infotainment touchscreens, and even areas on my Omega watch that will often get scratched up. Super easy to install (just use a bit of water with a drop of baby shampoo) so it's easy to move it while installing it on the item.

Note, I didn't bother applying it on the car infotainment touchscreen in my current car and noticed that it doesn't really get scratched up much. So, I wouldn't bother anymore.

 

Ended up getting the NuShield Triple A anti-glare screen and we're very pleased with it. Does a great job of cutting down the glare. It was easy to install and does not look like anything was "added on." It was kind of expensive, but then so was the Highlander.

Just curious if anyone has any feedback regarding screen protectors for their 12.3" screen? There's not a lot of companies selling such an item. I see an Amazon they sell it for the 8" screen. Also, in another forum I follow, there's this company that sells it for the 12.3" screen: Toyota Car Navigation protected by NuShield

Anyway, wondering what people have gone with and what their experiences has been? Probably better than not having one. Would love one that is matte - like my ipad screen protector

Screen Protech is a great product. I got their anti glare film for my 2020 Highlander and Camry. Fits perfect and no fingerprints. I also had a nice scratch on my cluster from wiping it and it hid the scratch. It is a bit more than what you can get on Amazon or Nu Shield. But the customer service I experienced with them is hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had with any company. There’s a lot to be said with that.
