The Vas is the Thiele-Small parameter that measures the overall compliance of a loudspeaker transducer. The Vas is the volume of air that has the same compliance as the driver. This is basically just a measure of the stiffness of the cone.

The 10" works excellent in .5 cu ft of air or less, but I would recommend at least 500 watts RMS going to it.

Scenerio 1 - to go with the 10 incher?
Scenerio 2 - to go with 2 10 inchers?

A guy that lives nearby heard about The Great PB, so he brought his truck by for some mods.

Anyway, he wanted a 12" in his Double Cab, instead of a 10". So I modified his TacoTunes sub box. I had to carve out some material from the back wall, but it worked out good. I put some fiberglass resin on the inside of the back wall to add some strength where I carved out the wood.

The Dayton 12" HO works good in small enclosures, but this is probably the very smallest enclosure that this sub should be installed in. I'll add some polyfill to it.

How do they sound? in that small enclosure?

I'm working on fitting a 12" in a box behind the seat of a guys Double Cab. I'm using this beast. It only has a depth of 5-3/8"

It looks like those speakers need a lot of room to work.
10" Vas: 1.20 cu. ft
The Tacotunes box is only .65 cu. ft. Any issues with distortion?

I dont think I want to do that. I want to keep the stock interior look. I guess I will have to sell them. I saw the mounting depth... that was my readoning for asking if anyone had a solution. Thanks for the info.
