I have a 1997 Toyota Corolla CE and everytime I drive the car for about 5 minutes in usually on the way to school. Everytime I come to a stop (red light or either 4 way stop sign) I hear a tapping noise (but it goes away when I accelerate again). I put a lot of money into the car and I probably won't get rid of it yet (my first Toyota, I brag about Toyota even before I had one..so I really hoping that it lives up to the hype) and I'm just hoping that it is something minor (I'm hoping its not a major engine problem).
But what do y'all guys think it may be?
P.S. Doing a few checks I did realize I was low on oil. So I brought it back up to the full level. And drove it again after I thought I got it to stop (thinking that would fix the problem). Still heard the noise.
