1st Gen Avalon Brake Caliper Upgrade - How do the hardware clips go?

I picked the hottest day ever to work on the brakes. I bought 2 reman Centric 1997 Avalon dual piston front brake calipers, 2 new Centric brake hoses, 2 new Raybestos element3 brake rotors and a set of Power Stop Z17 brake pads.

I removed the brake caliper, hung it on an S hook and when I was getting to putting the pads on the new brake caliper, I found a bag of clips for the pads and I was stumped on how to put them on. Does anyone have any pictures of how the brake hardware clips go on the caliper bracket?

It was 101 degrees and I was sweating bullets so I just swapped the rotors, put new Power Stop pads on the stock 04 calipers and greased the slide pins and put it back together. I don't have any 97 calipers to compare it to and I can't really seem to find any pics or videos of people working on the 1st gen Avalon brakes.

I still want to put the dual piston calipers on, just need to know how the clips go. I'm not sure I really like these Power Stop pads either. They are pretty smooth but they feel hard and you really have to get on them for them to bite. Might have to return the 1st Gen pads and get some Posi Quiet Ceramic pads. The brake master cylinder was full but I think I'm going to have to bleed them to see if it's just some air in the lines.

I don't have the original 97 calipers because I have a 2nd gen Avalon with the single piston calipers. I am wanting to upgrade the 2nd gen back to the 97 dual piston units but I don't have an example to use. The 1st gen Avalons are pretty rare around here, I don't remember ever seeing one at the salvage yards.

I did find a video from TRQ for a 1996 Camry that looks like almost the same calipers and she shows how to put the little clips in. The caliper brackets have these little bosses on the outside of each area where a clip goes and they are different sizes so I didn't know if you had to put them in a certain way but they could be just casting remnants or something. They don't seem to be present on the machined caliper brackets she is using in the video.
