2000+ celica suspension on 2nd gen matrix?

i recently spotted an eibach Front sway bar on an 02’ celica at my local junk yard for 15$ ($250 new) and was wondering if anyone kows if it would fit a second gen matrix?

Sway bar looks super similar

the other thing i noticed was the front control arms, they looks very similar however that isnt my interest - Energy Suspension makes poly bushing for celica control arm/other suspension bushing kits - however they do not have 2nd gen matrix ones. They look as if the bushings would fit a second get matrix

i may just buy a new set for 30$ and see if they fit ?‍♂

00’-05’celica suspension is said to fit 03’-08’ matrix. I have 03’-08’ coilovers on my 09’-14’ - so I'm thinking there might be more interchangeable parts (with some modification)

Update: crossrefrenced parts at the auto parts shop i work at.

00’-05 celica control arm bushings are the same as 03-14’ matrix bushings.

This means that celica Energy Suspension poly bushings should fit 1st/2nd gen matrix’s (even though they dont offer them as matrix’s)

have not tried this so I cant guarentee it, but ill most likely attempt it in the spring

That is good news about the bushings.
I doubt that the sway bar is the same for both cars. Just by Googling pictures of the Celica and the Matrix/Corolla sway bars.

yeah its pretty hard to tell in the photo’s i saw through COSTAR (canadian tire’s autoparts system) at work - going to do some more digging see what i can find out
