In my 2006 Avalon Limited, on the navigation contral panel if I push the Menu button and then go to setup there are options for both Day and Night with the options being: Auto, Normal, 1, 2, 3, 4.
On the Day portion if I go through the numbers the map color changes from white (normal) to a lighter blue and I think one other color.
On the night portion no matter what option I choose the maps background color always stays white and is very bright when driving at night so I have to adjust the screen brightness to make it darker.
Does our cars navigation change to a different color at night to make it less bright at night?
My friends 2007 Nissan Maxima changes from a white background with black roads to a black background with white roads at night. I was hoping our cars do the same or something similar.
